🏥 About the Clinic

Q: What services do you offer at New West Wellness Centre?
A: We provide a wide range of health and wellness services, including nutritionist, osteopathy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, and naturopathic medicine. Our multi-disciplinary team works together to support your overall health.

Q: What makes a multi-disciplinary clinic different?
A: Unlike single-service clinics, we bring multiple practitioners under one roof. This allows our team to collaborate, share insights, and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to your unique needs.

Q: Are your practitioners registered and/or licensed and certified?
A: Yes, every practitioner at New West Wellness Centre is fully registered/licensed, experienced, and in good standing with their professional associations.


📅 Appointments & Booking

Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: You can book online through our home page on the website or our online booking site

Q: Do I need a referral to see a practitioner?
A: No referral is required. You can book with the practitioner of your choice directly.

Q: Can I see more than one practitioner in the same visit?
A: Absolutely! Many of our patients benefit from combining services, such as Chiropractic care and massage therapy, in the same day.

Q: What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
A: We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: We do NOT accept walk-ins. We recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time.


💳 Payment & Insurance

Q: Do you accept insurance, and which providers?
A: Yes, we accept most extended health insurance plans. You would need to check with your extended health plan insurance, as they are individual and each plan is different.

Q: Do you offer direct billing?
A: Yes, we offer direct billing for many major insurance providers, making the process easier for you.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and e-transfers.

Q: Do you provide receipts for extended health benefits?
A: Absolutely. Receipts are provided by email for all services for submission to your insurance company if needed but we usually submit for most plans so no need for receipts.

Q: How much do your services cost?
A: Our service fees vary depending on the type of treatment and the length of the appointment. For example, initial visits are typically longer and slightly higher in cost than follow-up sessions. We follow standard rates for registered health practitioners in British Columbia, and many of our services are covered through extended health benefits. Q: What should I expect at my first visit?
A: Your practitioner will review your health history, discuss your concerns, and create a personalized treatment plan. You’ll also have time for questions and to begin treatment, if appropriate.

Q: How long are appointments?
A: Appointment length varies by service. Initial visits are typically longer to allow for assessment, while follow-ups are shorter.

Q: Can I combine different therapies (e.g., Acupuncture and chiropractor)?
A: Yes! In fact, combining therapies often leads to the best outcomes. Our practitioners collaborate to ensure your treatments complement each other.

Q: Is treatment safe if I’m pregnant or have a medical condition?
A: Yes. Please let us know about your condition when filling out your intake form which will be emailed to you when you book, and our practitioners will adapt your treatment for your safety and comfort after discussing with you.

Q: Do you create personalized wellness plans?
A: Yes, our practitioners can design plans tailored to your specific health goals, whether that’s pain relief, injury recovery, stress management, or overall wellness.

Q: Do you help with chronic pain, injury recovery, or stress management?
A: Absolutely. Many patients come to us for support with chronic conditions, recovery after injuries, car accidents and strategies to manage stress and improve well-being.

Q: Do you provide resources or exercises I can do at home?
A: Yes. Many of our practitioners will give you simple stretches, exercises, or lifestyle recommendations to support your progress between visits.

Q: Where are you located?
A: New West Wellness Centre is conveniently located on a side street. You can find our full address and map on our Contact Us page.

Q: Do you have parking available?
A: Yes, we provide free street 2 hour parking for our patients located around our building and side streets.

Q: Is your clinic wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, our clinic is fully accessible.

Q: Do you offer virtual/telehealth appointments?
A: Some of our services, such as nutritionist consultation/appointments, are available virtually.

Q: How do I get in touch if I have questions after my appointment?
A: You can email us at info@newwestwellness.ca or your practitioner anytime ( find there email by emailing info@newwestwellness.ca , and they will be happy to assist you.

Q: How quickly can I expect a response?
A: We do NOT have a receptionist so the fastest way to get a response the same day is to email the clinic or your practitioner.

Q: Do you offer emergency or urgent care services?
A: We are not an emergency clinic. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.

Q: How often should I come back for follow-up appointments?
A: This depends on your treatment plan and goals. Your practitioner will recommend a schedule that best supports your recovery and wellness journey.
