Testimonials

Carlos Ruzza, Age: 27, North Vancouver - “I play lots of sports and I use the computer at work, my back and neck were always sore until a friend told me about Michelle. I have been going for regular massages for about 2 years now and my back and neck have never felt better. Michelle is also very helpful on teaching you exercises you can do to avoid pain and problems.”

Rosella Nofield, Age: 73, New Westminster - “I have been a patient with Michelle for several years. When I first came to her, I was limping badly, hips were very bad, after 3 treatments I could walk with out limping. My treatments have kept me out of the operating room. Our medical system needs to recognize and allow more treatments on our medical, that massage therapy saves health care $$$.”

Clay Magnusson, Age: 36, New Westminster - “I guess just like everyone else I was a bit weary and skeptical of the idea of a massage therapist actually helping me. I originally decided to go to therapy to relieve a lot of tension and stress that had been building up from my job, school, work, life…etc. When I found Michelle I wasn’t really sure if this was something I would be interested in and I was a little uncomfortable with the whole thing but Michelle made it very easy to relax and let the tension go. She has a talent for not only pushing on the right places but also creating a comfortable environment with pleasant conversation that really helps calm you down. I’ve been going to Michelle for about a year and I have no complaints. My stress level is down and I look forward to the treatments… though they may not be all gentle and soft, the end result is well worth it.”

John B. Vokes, Age: 57,South Surrey, BC - “Michelle has been providing me with massage therapy on a regular basis for over three years. I originally began seeing Michelle for a problem related to muscular atrophy (loss of muscle) in one shoulder that I had been suffering since 1995. After discussing my concerns with her, the massage, along with an exercise routine she gave me caused the muscle ache to disappear after a few sessions and it has never returned. I would highly recommend Michelle for her knowledge, professionalism, and great attitude toward helping people.”

Adrienne Bull-Pettypiece, Age: 40, New Westminster - “Body pain does not always strike you in a place where you yourself can easily reach to provide your own temporary relief. Furthermore, most of us do not have the first clue about how to properly work out a kink or a knot, even if we could reach it. This is why the heavens invented Massage Therapists, and thankfully, New Westminster got Michelle Kegaly.

I started seeing Michelle in January of 2000 after I put my back out at our Millenium New Year’s Party, doing a rather energetic can-can. The pain was immediate, and then turned into a long lasting, dull throb. My GP referred me to the wonderful art of massage therapy (back when you needed to have a referral from a doctor). Having just moved to New Westminster, I checked out the neighbourhood for a local clinic and was lucky enough to find Michelle.

Even after my first session of deep tissue massage with Michelle, I could feel some of the movement and flexibility return, without the nagging throb. I have continued with Michelle ever since then, mostly for continued manipulation and massage of my office worker musclesm, and my gardener’s back.

Many people discount massage as a beneficial form of therapy, thinking it’s the kind you find in the spa. It’s not. Deep tissue massage is one of the less invasive ways to seek pain relief, and obtain better muscle to joint function. I often advise my family and friends to try massage therapy, and when asked about a practitioner, I immediately tell them to go see Michelle. She may have the toughest hands you’ll ever come across, but she’s got the softest heart. Once you’ve tried massage therapy with Michelle, you’ll never go anywhere else - trust me.”
