Michelle Kegaly, R.M.T.

Graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1996. Michelle is the owner of the New Wellness Centre Inc. She has been working since 1997 and during her time as a therapist she has come across many different injuries and conditions . Her goal is to work with her patients through assessment, treatment and home care to achieve the most pain free living possible. She continues to research new and upcoming health issues and participates in continuing education in the Massage Therapy field.

Michelle has a huge passion for Yoga, Travel, Mountain Biking and Skiing. This past year she has also learned how to Kite Board and continues her adventures with the new sport.

Harold Webster, Acupuncturist

Harry’s interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) comes through years of exploring the use of qi (pronounced “chee”) in the martial arts as a student, and for 8 years as a teacher in Goju Ryu Karate. Qi is the energy of the body, which is the functional energy of all our body processes, whether they are emotional, mental or physical.

Harry began to Shift his focus to the study of qi and healing. He took his training in Vancouver at PCU College of Holistic Medicine, being lucky enough to study under teachers from mainland China with generations of experience.

As a licensed acupuncturist with a background in herbal studies, he has also concentrated on the use of Tui Na, which is a form of Chinese massage based on TCM principals and acupressure points. Harry is known for his 100% dedication. He will do everything possible within his knowledge to help his patients feel better.

Katie Craig, R.M.T.

Graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006.

Katie was married in 2006 to her highschool sweet heart, Casey Craig, who is also a Registered Massage Therapist at the centre. She enjoys the challenge of working with a variety of patients and pathologies. Katie is passionate about seeing people benefit from massage therapy through different techniques such as Trigger Point and Fascial Release therapy.

Katie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl (Gloria) on May 11th, 2011 and knows the benefits of massage therapy for prenatal and postnatal woman. She has since returned and is excited to balance work life with being a new mom!

Casey Craig, R.M.T.

Graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009.

Casey is a competitive runner who has completed a full marathon and several half marathons. He was able to combine is love for athletics and massage therapy as he volunteered at 2 half ironman’s, 1 marathon, and 3 other charity athletic events while he went through school.Casey has witnessed the benefits of massage in his own training program, and is passionate about promoting massage therapy.

Casey also has a love for traveling, and has traveled to 6 continents, and would like to continue to see the world with his wife Katie Craig, who is also a registered massage therapist at the Centre. Casey and Katie had a a beautiful baby girl (Gloria) on May 11th 2011.

Dr. Brad Dunstan, BMLSc, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Dunstan is a graduate of UBC’s Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences program (1999), and the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (2009). As a licensed ND, Brad is able to provide a range of therapies, such as nutritional and lifestyle counselling, herbal and nutritional supplementation, IV therapies, acupuncture, and homeopathy. Regardless of the health challenges you are facing, Dr. Dunstan can help by working with you to reach your health goals. His areas of particular expertise include cardiovascular health, musculoskeletal issues, endocrine imbalances, and digestive disturbances.

On his days off, Brad enjoys snowboarding, hockey, rollerblading, chess, and jazz.

Megan Mahoney, Receptionist.

Megan is a wonderful energetic addition to the New West Wellness Centre since January 2011. She is the beautiful face you will see as you enter our Centre and the voice you will encounter on the phone. Megan will book your appointments and answer any questions you may have.

Lene Trelvik, R.M.T.

Graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2011.

Passionate about health science and the process of healing, Lené believes in the mind and body connection and its importance to achieve optimal health. Lené is pleased to serve a diverse population – from young to old with varying needs. Lené appreciates that the body is in constant motion and we are challenged daily to find that balance. She is dedicated to support you in developing the connection of mind, body and spirit in your journey to find the centre of your well being through massage therapy.

In her free time Lené enjoys yoga, being outdoors, time with family and friends but most importantly being with her two year old little girl.

Angela Li, R.M.T.

Graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2011.

Along with English Angela speaks Mandarin fluently, as it is her mother tongue. She has studied Reflexology also and can incorporate this into her massage treatments. She is good at treating neck, shoulder and low back pain.

Rhiannon Dawson, R.M.T.

Graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007.

Rhiannon Dawson, RMT, has been interested in the practice of massage therapy for years. She was the student representative for her graduating class and was involved in many volunteer activities at school showing her passion to be involved in the community around her. She has a black belt in Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu, which she earned while teaching in Japan.

Rhiannon has a passion for learning, both for it’s own interest and as a way to always be improving her skills as a therapist. She has a calm and caring personality and is dedicated to doing the best for her patients.

Rhiannon is returning to work on Sunday September 25, 2011 from her year long trip abroad.

Renée Caines, R.M.T.

Graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006.

Renée Caines is on MAT leave until late Spring 2012. You are welcome to see another therapist while she is away.

Renee gave birth to a beautiful baby boy (Aiden) January 24, 2012.

Lindsay Perry, R.M.T

Graduated from West Coast of Massage Therapy 2007

Lindsay has found fulfillment and enthusiasm in her career as a registered massage therapist. She enjoys treating a variety of patients and conditions. She believes massage therapy can enhance an individuals overall sense of well being and improve quality of life.

Outside of the treatment room, Lindsay can be found traveling, camping, hiking and spending time with her young son.
